Product description:
Polycarbonate sheets which comply with requirements for transparent screens in arc welding processes. They protect against the hazardous radiation emitted during arc welding processes and meet the requirements on light transmission, UV-stability and fire resistance specified in EN ISO 25980: 2014.

Polycarbonate Sheets for Arc Welding Processes
Polycarbonate sheets for arc welding processes, Exolon® WS sheets fulfil the requirements of DIN EN ISO 25980 for health and safety protection in processes and techniques related to transparent shielding for welding.
Available in the colours green 658 (green) and bronze 888 (bronze).
Thermal and Mechanical Resistance
Exolon® WS sheets offer outstanding impact resistance, superior to products in their class, and are resistant to a temperature range of -100 to +120 °C.
Broad Applicability
Exolon® WS panels can be used wherever there is a need to protect people outside the welding area from the hazardous radiation of arc welding processes. Typical applications for Exolon® WS are shielding of machines, robots or systems where arc welding takes place, e.g. as windows in welding booths or as partitions between welding robots.
Exolon® WS is not suitable for use as a welding filter or as a visor in welding helmets or in workplaces where the welder must be protected from the reflection of light emitted during welding.
