By combining the excellent insulating properties of ceramic insulation with the fact that the heat exchange occurs exclusively by radiation, TCS is able to increase the heat flow towards the cylinder by 250% and at the same time reduce heat loss towards the cylinder by 75%. ‘environment.

A single TCS section typically replaces two or three conventional heating bands, which is why the resulting final system has fewer operational complications. TCS can be integrated with an air cooling system, reducing cooling times when required.

The temperature of the external surface of the TCS half-shells is close to that of the surrounding environment and therefore the danger of possible burns for the operators is eliminated.

TCS is a system that pays for itself within a few months. Furthermore, the durability of TCS components is greater than 10 years, much longer than that of conventional resistors.
