The standard glossy surface has excellent optical properties; light rays are not deflected and images are not altered.

Hesaglas precision acrylic glass is extremely easy to work with (similar to wood) and can be thermoformed.
Hesaglas is also excellent for laser cutting, and the tight thickness tolerances favor cutting and etching.
