Coextruded film with a specially developed functional layer for UV protection. It combines the well known advantages of Makrofol with respect to mechanical, thermal and optical properties, with the capability for applications under UV exposure.

UV protected matted PC film produced by Covestro from their high-quality Makrolon polycarbonate.
Makrofol UV 244 6-2 finish is matted on one side and finely matted on the other side.
Makrofol UV 244 6-2 film is available in standard thicknesses of 175 µm, 250 µm, and 375 µm, and other thicknesses are available upon request.

Makrofol films have excellent surface uniformity and remarkable strength combine with good elasticity that is maintained over a wide temperature range (the classification is UL94 V-2 rating).
