High-temperature resistant ink for CIJ produced by FARBWERKE HERKULA SA/AG that is pigmented and can also be used on metals and ceramics.

FARBWERKE HERKULA SA/AG began developing ink for continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers moved by the ever-increasing demands from customers seeking better coloring performance.

FARBWERKE HERKULA SA/AG's specialization with inks enabled it to develop a dedicated product line with excellent performance in adhesion, contrast and parameter stability.

Pigmented products, in particular, are characterized by low dye sedimentation and thus consistent performance. For this reason, several CIJ series have been developed: MEK-based and MEK-free series.

Most series are available either dye-based (dye based) or pigment-based (pigment based). The main focus of our inks is on extrusion applications. Therefore, we have designed several series for PVC, polyolefin, PTFE and even silicone substrates.

Description and Application

JetInk 30155 ink from FARBWERKE HERKULA SA/AG, is designed for use on metals and ceramics.

For optimum printing results, only pigmented systems that work with the ink care option (ink care mode) should be used.

This ink is distinguished by its resistance to heat up to 400 °C and thermal stability up to 800 °C.

For proper preparation and use, it is recommended to shake the container vigorously before use, making sure there is no residue at the bottom.

JetInk 30155 ink is suitable for print nozzles from 72 to 52 µm and frequencies from 66 to 90 kHz.

Chemical and Mechanical Properties

JetInk 30155 ink is available pigment base; solvent is MEK base.

Our product shows resistance to “bleeding” and no influence on the electrical characteristics of the cable.

The pigments are free of lead and other heavy metals.

The ink in this series of FARBWERKE HERKULA SA/AG also shows very good lightfastness and very fast drying time (< 1s ).

The make-up to be used in combination is 0109SH.

All FARBWERKE HERKULA SA/AG inks for InkJet printers do not contain aromatic solvents.
